DRAGONS BLOW OUT RIVER HOGS
Dragons d. River Hogs 49-31 in Week 21.
by 📋 Y1 W21 LOU @ TKY (31-49)
DRAGONS DISMANTLE HOGS WITH SUFFOCATING DEFENSE, BALANCED ATTACK
Let me tell you something—the Dragons came into Week 21 and showed the River Hogs what REAL football looks like! This wasn't a game, it was a CLINIC! The Dragons forced THREE interceptions, sacked the Hogs five times, and absolutely suffocated them in the red zone, holding them scoreless in FIVE trips down there. FIVE! You don't win games like that without elite-level defensive execution, and the Dragons' defense—led by J.Miles picking off a pass—was RELENTLESS from start to finish!
Now, on the offensive side, D.Wright had himself a day with 425 yards and four touchdowns, but here's what I need to address: THREE interceptions! That's careless football, my friend! You can't be throwing the ball away like that in a competitive league where real owners make real adjustments. HOWEVER—and this is crucial—R.Miles and T.Oliver made PLAYS, combining for 273 receiving yards and three touchdowns. That's the kind of firepower that wins weeks in this league!
The River Hogs? I gotta call a spade a spade—they got EMBARRASSED! D.Wright threw for 384 yards on their side, but he was under constant pressure with only ONE sack allowed because the Hogs couldn't establish ANYTHING on the ground—just 40 rushing yards! J.Martin tried to carry them with 131 rushing yards and four touchdowns, but when your offense can't convert fourth downs (0-for-2) and can't punch it in the end zone (0-for-5 in red zone territory), you're getting DOMINATED! The Dragons won this decisively, 49-31, and it wasn't even that close!
